Mr. Birdhouse manufactures two styles of birdhouse pole mounting supports,
which secure a pole system into the ground.

A. Ground Socket (included with the Telescopic Pole):
The Ground Socket is a length of steel tubing cemented into the ground. The 3 piece Telescopic Pole fits into the Ground Socket. The birdhouse can then be raised and lowered vertically. This is a wonderful system. Many purple martin landlords would insist upon a Telescoping Pole system. This allows the birdhouse to be raised and lowered several times each season without disturbing the nests. The Mr. Birdhouse Telescopic Pole comes with a Ground Socket.
 B. PIVOTING POLE BASE (optional item):
The Pivoting Pole Base will function in two ways. By using the Pivoting Pole Base, the house may be lowered by pivoting the house down. The Pivoting Pole system works well to install and take down your house and to remove any unwanted birds that may move in before your martins do. Pivoting your pole does not work well when martins are nesting, or young birds are in the nest, as you will disturb all of the nests. You can also telescope the pole in the same manner as the ground socket system explained above.

Universal House Mounting Bracket Only
Steel Base is 11 1/2" x 11 1/2". Attaches to a 3/4" pipe thread for pole mounting.
Included with Parkview and Chateau house.
